My Idol’s

Not that I even think anyone really cares what I have to say.

I figure I would add this to my website, so maybe you can get a little peek into my process, my shooting style and my life!
First off I definitely need to thank my amazing clients, who from the beginning, when I had no idea what I was doing, stuck by my side, and supported me every step of the way. You know who you are, the ones that came to me, and time and time again, come back, thanking me for my work. It is really me, who is thankful. Without the love and support of my clients I would not and could not be able to do what I love with my whole heart! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I guess I can now talk about who I look up to so much.  If you know me, you know that basically all the accounts I follow on Instagram are professional photographers. Like, somehow their greatness might rub off on me because I surround myself with their amazing work! The first photographer that I really became obsessed with is True Creative Portraits. This woman is a hero to me, when it comes to senior sessions.

I mean, c’mon! Is there nothing she can’t do? Without her, I would have never found the light that I so honestly love to add to my sessions. Through her images, I was able to find motivation to be a better version of myself. So thank you True, for your work, that helps me with mine. If you even kind of care about senior portraits, you probably already follow her, but if not, GOOO!

Up next,  BLISSFUL MAVEN. Holy smokes, talk about emotion.  Candice, of Blissful Maven, is a gorgeous and very talented photographer. The raw emotion that she evokes in her shots, are breathtaking. I swear, go follow her! She is amazing!

Other honorable mentions that I have been addicted to since day one are Hayley Stell…

Spanki Mills…

And recently Inframes Photography…

Anyway. I could go on and on for the next 12 hours with shots from photographers I admire and look up to, as well as watch via social media. There have been so many things that I have learned just because social media now allows it. I know that I would not be the photographer I am today, without these people blazing new paths before me!
That’s all for today, a little bit of inspiration behind who I watch and look up to, and how I’ve learned from them.
